Baltic Blue Bioeconomy Hackathon - POSTPONED

04 April – 05 April 2020
Kristineberg Marine Research Station, Fiskebäckskil, Sweden

The SUBMARINER Network is organising the first-ever Baltic Blue Bioeconomy Hackathon to collect innovative and creative ideas to promote, accelerate and shape the future of the Blue Bioeconomy in the Baltic Sea Region. We are inviting Baltic Blue Bioeconomy companies and institutes to present challenges to multi-disciplinary teams of students from our SUBMARINER members => these teams will be given 48h to present possible solutions to these challenges in a creative environment. The teams will be judged by a panel of experts on a range of indicators, including creativity, possibility for implementation and consideration of whole value chains.

Please note that due to the increasing COVID-19 measures across Europe, the Baltic Blue Bioeconomy Hackathon has been postponed until further notice. The event is still expected to still take place at a later date in 2020. If you would like to attend the Hackathon on a new date, please express your interest through filling in the registration form and we will keep you updated. Thank you for your understanding.
