Circular@WUR conference with Seaweed-specific session
As part of the “Partnerships : Governance of transition” conference theme, we will point out critical issues, including but not limited to safety, for seaweed to be part of a circular bioeconomy and discuss how partnerships can help address these issues. The session aims at bringing together internal and external knowledge on seaweed, with perspectives from academia, NGO, philanthropy and industry.
This conference will be the first big international conference to be hosted on Wageningen campus since 2019 and we are very much looking forward to welcoming at this important event. The program involves relevant and impactful keynotes, masterclasses and workshops in which you can learn and experience the circular challenge yourselves by participating in masterclasses, scientific sessions presenting the latest scientific developments and the opportunity to be inspired by visiting the most innovative circular companies in the Netherlands.
As for the rest of the conference, this session is primarily hosted as a normal physical event on campus. For those for whom it is not possible to attend live, we are will add an online component to that session.
(Should there still be COVID-19 limitations in December 2021, the conference will then be postponed to still allow a physical event.) Apart from our session, the conference will provide an overview of the state-of-the-art knowledge about a circular, bio-based society, the full overview of sessions and side-events, together with the registration form, is available on the conference website.
