ReefCircular Joins the SUBMARINER Network as Associated Member

SUBMARINER Network welcomes its newest member, ReefCircular — a Danish company transforming shell waste into bioconcrete reef modules that help restore marine habitats and boost biodiversity.

ReefCircular’s approach includes the use of a novel “bioconcrete” material called Aegironite® made from sustainable shell-waste and natural marine binders alongside clay materials with lower CO₂ emissions than conventional concrete.

By joining our network, ReefCircular reinforces our shared focus on circular economy, marine habitat restoration and scalable innovation in the blue economy. We look forward to facilitating collaboration between ReefCircular and our members working on coastal infrastructure, ecosystem restoration, materials innovation and policy alignment!

We encourage our members to connect with ReefCircular, explore synergies, and consider opportunities for joint initiatives, pilot deployments or knowledge-sharing.
