ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Study to support Sustainable EU Algae Industry promotes the use of algae for various applications, ranging from food and feed to fertiliser and even CO2 removal. It has the objective to ensure that the algae industry sector develops sustainably by bridging the existing knowledge gaps in order to better contribute to the decarbonisation objectives of the European Green Deal as well as studying the role of algae in sustainable food and feed systems.
