BioCon Valley Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V.

The registered association BioCon Valley Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V. was founded in April 2001 on the initiative of entrepreneurs, researchers, local authorities and private individuals to promote the networking of experts from health economy and science in the region. It is recognised as a non-profit organisation.

The purpose of the association is to promote and organise research and development in the field of life sciences such as biotechnology, biomedicine and medical technology in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern/Germany and cooperation with other regions, particularly in the Baltic Sea region.

In collaboration with BioCon Valley® GmbH, the association forms the BioCon Valley-Initiative. BioCon Valley® GmbH, Cluster Health Economy Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, is dedicated to the development and expansion of the bioeconomy in the state.
