Join us for the Women in the Blue Economy (WIN-BIG) Baltic Event from 5-6 November in Kiel, Germany! This event is part of a series of three regional Sea Basin events (Mediterranean, Baltic and Atlantic) organised by the WIN-BIG project to strengthen gender inclusivity in the Blue Economy across Europe.
This 2-day event will bring together professionals, leaders, and stakeholders from all sectors of the Blue Economy to create a welcoming space for knowledge sharing, skill building, and connection. The event will address the barriers women face in the sector, showcase opportunities, and foster innovative ways to climb the Blue Economy career ladder.

🔹 Plenary (5 Nov, morning): Keynotes & panels on the state of gender equality across blue sectors in the Baltic Sea region—and how to move the needle.
🔹 Learning Labs (5 Nov pm–6 Nov am): Small-group sessions (50–60 participants) on negotiation, IP, funding strategies, and cross-sector communication.
🔹 Women’s Retreat (6 Nov, afternoon): Time for reflection, confidence-building, and peer connection.
