Workshop – Emissions, Capture, and Utilisation: Principles and Frameworks, and Utilisation: Principles and Frameworks for Ulva

This workshop takes place over the course of two days. The program includes a welcome reception (evening of May 12), three sessions of invited presentations, a poster session, a discussion panel and a site visit to local aquaculture and algae processing enterprises. Optional is a visit to Kuressaare Castle. Our project manager Efthalia Arvaniti will be speaking at the session on “Environmental accounting (Ecosystem Services & Life Cycle Analysis) – challenge of applying to seaweed”.

The Seawheat Workshop will include the following sessions:

  • Session 1 – Algae and Carbon Capture – Political and regulatory setting
  • Session 2 – Quantifying emission capture – challenges and valorisation
  • Session 3 – Environmental accounting (Eco-System Services & LifeCycle Analysis) –
    challenge of applying to seaweed.
