In 2010, the SUBMARINER Project began, seeking to further “environmentally appealing innovative uses of Baltic Sea resources, thus contributing toward its aim to become a model region for sustainable sea management.” Over ten years later, the SUBMARINER Network has grown to incorporate over forty members, thirty-five projects, several thousand stakeholders, and over 140 million euros, all centred around improving our region’s blue economy.
To celebrate our tenth anniversary, we have put together an impact report summarizing the first decade of SUBMARINER work and the impacts we have had thus far.
